Sarah likes Ryan--likes him in that way that you do, when you're a teenager, where you feel like you're drowning, and he's all you can think about. And that's bad enough, when the boy doesn't like you back, but for Sarah, it's a disaster. Because Ryan is dating Sarah's best friend, Brianna. And there's a rule that's so obvious and well known that it doesn't need to be spoken or written down, which is, obviously, you don't like your best friend's boyfriend. Even when you liked him since before your best friend even knew he existed.
I really liked this book. The characters didn't always make the best decisions, weren't always the kindest, but I always understood where they were coming from. Very nice.
