This was kind of an amazing book. It was a very fast read, and I definitely didn't want to put it down. I think I read it in all of two days. The narrative was compelling, and the characters felt real, with maybe one exception. The main character was so easy to relate to, even though he and I have pretty much nothing in common.
It's definitely adult material--it's the story of a teenage boy, 18, about to graduate high school, who is reliving and trying to get over his experience as a 12 year old who was molested by his (female) teacher. There's a lot of growing, a lot of self-discovery, and there is definitely fall-out to that experience; this isn't a happily ever after story, but it does end on a hopeful note.
