It took me about a week to read this book, which is a pretty long time, considering that it's a not-very-long YA book. I...can't tell whether I liked it. I think the descriptions were pretty great, the world building was nice, but the plot was definitely, definitely lacking. Also, the main conflict I guess was romantic in nature, so this would be what I'd call a romance novel, but the secondary conflict, the actual plot, was resolved and then nothing happened and then an entirely different conflict sprang up, so that was. I don't know. I might read the second book? Does that mean I liked it?
