The Strange Case of Origami Yoda - Tom Angleberger I LOVED this book. It made me laugh, but I was also actually interested in the story and the characters. And, well, look at the cover?! What kid wouldn't want to read that? What ADULT wouldn't want to read it? And what kind of person wouldn't get to the end, where there are very special instructions for fashioning your very own Origami Yoda, and not go grab a sheet of paper and give it a whirl? If you could resist, you're a stronger person than I.

So, I loved this book because I loved it, but also because it's SUCH an easy sell. I could hand this to any kid, speak the magical words, "It's sort of like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, but with Yoda!" and watch it fly off the shelf.
