This...was a very strange book. I actually ended up listening to it as an audiobook, so I'm not sure if I really liked it, or if I just...had no choice but to listen to it? I suppose it's meant to be empowering, the sacred feminine and all that, and in a way, it is. It was soothing, touching, and it almost felt sacred, listening to it, but in retrospect, it all felt pretty contrived. Too much like the author was going for that.
I'd say that anyone who was very interested in the secret lives of women, of birth and the rituals of life cycles would find this book very interesting.
